I had the amazing privilege of growing up at New Life! Kaz and I met while attending New Life Youth. In our early 20’s, we married and moved to Minneapolis. I served on staff as a Kids Pastor at a church in the suburbs for a couple of years. After sensing God’s calling us back home to Nebraska, he opened the door to be a part of the team as the Lead Kids Pastor at New Life!
Interest:
Kayla enjoys baking, reading, gardening, good coffee and is borderline obsessed with the Friends TV show. Kaz works remotely for ScreenRant, keeping up to date on all things nerdy news: comics, movies and shows! Together, they love spending intentional time with their daughter through family walks, kitchen dance parties and time with friends.
Fun Fact:
In high school, Kaz and I served as worship leaders at New Life Youth and started dating right before our senior year of high school. We can say that we fell in love at New Life Youth!
Final Thoughts:
We are honored that God has allowed us to be a part of what He has planned for the next generation. He placed amazing people in our lives that saw us and joined our parents in discipling our hearts to know and love God. Our desire is that every child that walks through the doors of New Life experiences Jesus’ love and that families are equipped and encouraged to continue the good work of the Gospel in their homes!
