Dean Buse

Jennifer and I both grew up in Northeast Nebraska; I in West Point and Jennifer in Norfolk. We met at a state-wide youth leadership conference. It was “love at first sight” for me; Jennifer on the other hand took a few years to come around. We both graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Jennifer has focused on being a mother to our four children and dog and teaching in the public schools. I worked sixteen years in the newspaper industry before joining the staff at New Life in 2010.

INTEREST

Jennifer and I enjoy connecting with other people and spending time with our family. As a family we enjoy camping, playing games, watching movies, having fun in the backyard, playing sports together and cheering for the Huskers.

FUN FACT

We are both creative and extroverted. Meal times at the Buse home can become quite lively. Jenn and the girls enjoy crafting and shopping while my son and I enjoy science, astronomy, and throwing the football or shooting hoops. I enjoy taking care of our yard and cooking up delicious cobbler in my Dutch Ovens.

FINAL THOUGHTS

We are simple people with big hearts for God and for people. We are passionate about serving others with the love of Jesus and seeing people grow in a personal relationship with Christ. A bible verse for our family is Joshua 24:15- “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.”
