Water Baptism is an important aspect of following Jesus in His teaching and His example. After you have made the internal heart decision to surrender your life and become a follower of Jesus Christ, one of the first things you should do is to get water baptized.

•  Water baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus.

•   Water baptism is a symbolic act of aligning yourself with Jesus’ death,

    burial and resurrection. For this reason, we practice baptism by

    immersion as was customary in the Scriptures.

•   Water baptism is a reminder and a celebration of this spiritual truth found

    in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new

    person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
